Mary Day, 63, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2019 in Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 22, 1956 in New Port, RI to Buddy A. Day and Thomasina Hoffman Day.
Mary worked as a chef for over 15 years. She was a member of Victory Temple. She enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, going to the movies, and spending time with Erie Shores Social Group. She loved her family and all animals, especially her cat, Sugarbaby.
She is survived by her brother, John (Sandra) Day; nieces, Tina Green and Tamee (Jon) Schwarz; her nephew, Troy Day; three great-nieces; a great-nephew; and other relatives.
Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25 until services begin at 11 a.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Castalia Cemetery.
