David R. Cornell, 57, Port Clinton, died Thursday, October 10, 2019, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
He was born in Port Clinton on September 28, 1962, to the late Ralph and Audrey (Ridley) Cornell.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
David was self-employed in construction. He was a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns, loved watching his grandchildren play sports, and Hot Rods.
He is survived by his children, Dave R. (Charity) Cornell II, Dustin R. (Karen) Cornell, and Josh H. (Crystal) Cornell all of Port Clinton, OH, Madison R. (Anthony Slain) Cornell, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Kailey, Kasen, Jace, Gavin, Conner, Skyler, Joshey, Charlotte, Willow, and Wesson; siblings, Sandy (Richard) Day, Nancy Dunkley, Jim (Angie) Cornell, Doug Cornell, and Wendy (Juan) Cortez; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a date to be determined by the family.
