“Beverly Jean Lizanich, 61, Huron, died on Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home with her two daughters at her side.
She was born on June 9, 1956 to Liliah (Roggeman) and Richard Smith in Castalia, Ohio.
Beverly was a professional who worked in law and engineering, but found her true calling serving communities in need as the Director of Program and Member Services at Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio.
Beverly will be remembered for her selfless service, stubborn persistence, and lifelong commitment to equality.
She leaves behind two daughters, Brianna Wagner and Stasia (Evan) Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wesley Smith.
Friends may call on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 2 P.M. until time of her Celebration of Life at 3 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
